Evangelicals, led by prominent televangelist and former jail bird Jim Bakker have claimed that the Lord has bestowed upon Trump a divine blessing of the wisdom of King Solomon.
In a sermon that has infuriated liberal Americans but becoming a rallying cry for the Evangelicals, Jim Bakker said that “if you look at Trump, see his strength, his wealth and message of prosperity, his devotion to Christian values, and the fact he is fighting strong opponents and enemies and winning on all fronts, you can simply say he is the modern day King Solomon.”
“Donald Trump’s life is written in the Bible,” Jim Bakker claimed before asking his congregation to open the book of Isaiah and pointing out a scripture that he claimed was linked to Trump.
ISAIAH chapter 45
Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
4 For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
” So read that scripture and see that it it relates directly to Donald Trump. It talks of Cyrus the great who will break the Kings and subdue nations. That is Trump. It is Isaiah 45 and remember Trump is President Number 45,” Bakker said to loud cheers from his congregation.
“All the Kings and leaders who are pagans will be broken and subdued by Trump and all their wealth, gold, silver and chariots will be taken away from them,”Bakker claimed as the noise in his congregation reached fever pitch.
“Like King Solomon, the Lord has bestowed divine wisdom onto Trump so he can rule with determination and break the backs of the wicked.”
But it was the last verse that the Evangelical televangelist read out to his congregation that sent the loudest noise through the church and earned him a standing ovation. And this, he linked to Trump’s decision to move the Israeli Embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem. It is Isaiah 45:25.
“ In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.”
