Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trump’s close aide and White House Spokesperson continues to slam and ridicule the women who accused Trump of sexual assault saying they are all liars and no one should listen to them.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders, whose career as White House Spokesperson has out lasted that of Sean Spicer and Anthony Scaramucci is a fierce defender of Trump and also promotes herself as a very conservative and family values person.
“Obviously, sexual harassment has been in the news,” Jacqueline Alemany of CBS News asked Sanders. “At least 16 women accused the president of sexually harassing them throughout the course of the campaign. Last week, during a press conference in the Rose Garden, the president called these accusations ‘fake news.’ Is the official White House position that all of these women are lying?”
“Yeah, we’ve been clear on that from the beginning, and the president’s spoken on it,” Sanders said, before quickly pivoting to another reporter to ask a question.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders has refused to comment on Roy Moore who is facing a series of allegations of sexual harassment, sexual impropriety and also facing questions after his former colleagues bravely spoke that he dated teenagers while he was working in his District Court.
It has been reported that some of the teenagers he dated were as young as 14 and 15 and there have been calls for Trump and the White House to make a statement on the issue.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Trump continue to support Roy Moore although some senior Conservatives including Speaker Paul Ryan have said Roy Moore’s behaviour of sexual relationships with teenagers is unacceptable and that he should stand aside and stop serving in any public office.
