British billionaire and airline tycoon Richard Branson has become a target of Donald Trump’s unpredictable mood swings and reports reveal he received a bizarre letter that was written by Trump at 3am.
In the letter, Trump angrily lashes out the British airline tycoon for being a “fake billionaire” even suggesting that Branson should stop using the title billionaire because his business was failing and he would lose everything. He even lashed out at Branson’s TV ratings. The letter reads:
“At least your dismal ratings can now allow you to concentrate on your airline which, I am sure, needs every ounce of your energy,” Mr Trump wrote.
“It is obviously a terrible business and I can’t imagine, with fuel prices etc, that you can be doing any better in it than anyone else.
“Like television, you should try to get out the airline business too, as soon as possible! Actually, I wonder out loud how you can be anywhere close to a billionaire and be in that business. Perhaps the title of your show, The Rebel Billionaire, is misleading?
“In any event, do not use me to promote your rapidly sinking show – you are a big boy, try doing it yourself!”
Richard Branson, who once dined with Trump has been critical of the Trump Presidency and has predicted that the Trump Presidency will be short lived and most likely a one term Presidency.
Richard Branson has clashed with many of the President’s policies especially when Trump withdrew the United States from the Paris Climate Accord. Branson has blasted Trump’s Climate Change denial as irrational and bizarre and also criticized Trump’s divisive rhetoric and policies that have targeted and attacked Minorities, the LGBT Community and Muslims.
