China has officially revealed whose side they will be on should nuclear war break out between Trump and North Korea, and it’s not what Trump hoped for.
In the Influential Global Times newspaper of China, an official editorial revealed China’s strategy should nuclear war break out and the strategy simply shows that China is sympathetic to North Korea.
China’s strategy is that should North Korea attack the United States first, China will stay neutral and not get involved in the conflict but should the United States attack North Korea first, China will use all it’s might and power to defend North Korea,
China has been avoiding wars and conflict for a long time, instead focusing on major development projects, industrialisation and building their mega economic powerhouse.
Trump has for a long time been relying on China and hoping that China would take his side on the North Korean situation but the surprise announcement by China has left everything plain and clear to see which side they are on.
Trump has got a boost from Australia and New Zealand who are pledging to stand with the United States should nuclear war break out.
Trump has refused to back down from his tough rhetoric and insists that should North Korea continue threatening the US, then all options are on the table.
On his previous tweets on North Korea, Trump says: “It’s not a dare. It’s a statement. It has nothing to do with dare. That’s a statement. He’s not going to go around threatening Guam and he’s not going to threaten the United States and he’s not going to threaten Japan and he’s not going to threaten South Korea. That’s not a dare, as you say. That is a statement of fact.”
