Remain campaigner Gina Miller is living in fear of acid attacks or serious physical harm after hundreds of threats from members of British Far Right groups who say she tried to sabotage Brexit. She told Verdict.co.uk: “I have been getting threats of having acid thrown in my face for months and months now.
“When I see someone walk towards me on the street with a bottle of water or something, I just freak out.”
Last month aristocrat Rhodri Philips was convicted of two counts of sending malicious messages directed at Ms Miller and police have issued eight cease and desist letters to those who have threatened her.
It is believed the Aristocrat had posted on Facebook that he was willing to pay £5,000 to anyone who would attack Gina Miller over her stance and campaigns against Brexit.
She said: “I get people who send me death threats who include their name and full address on the letters.
“People are so bold that they just don’t hide.”
Nigel Farage’s fans have verbally abused Gina Miller on Twitter using the most disgusting and horrible words that can’t even be published on here.
Gina Miller is working with the London police to see how she can be kept safe but it is thought she may flee the country in order to be assured of safety.
She said she loves Britain but if it comes to the worst, she with all her family may have to flee the wrath of British Far Rights groups.
