Ivanka Trump To Fully Support Her Father on Banning Transgender People From Serving In The Military

Ivanka Trump, the first daughter and President Trump’s adviser will be expected to fully support her father on his total ban on transgender people serving in the military, Political insiders in Washington have said.

Trump’s announcement today was sudden and without warning but also was not expected. It is known that Trump and the Republican Party in general are not supportive of the LGBT community but no one expected the animosity would extend as far as a total ban on transgender people from serving in the military.

Trump made the surprise announcement on Twitter by posting in a series of tweets that:

“After consultation with my generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. military,” Mr Trump wrote.

“Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail,” he added.

Americans were caught off guard and many went on Twitter to criticise the President’s ban but his supporters defended him tweeting phrases and quotes by the Evangelical Christians.

Ivanka Trump, the first daughter remained silent on the issue but pundits have said that she will support her father 100% on this new policy.

Ivanka Trump has in the past claimed that she supports the LGBT community and even claimed to have friends in the LGBT community.

In the past, Ivanka tweeted a message of thanks to the LGBTQ community saying:

“I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends and the LGBTQ  Americans who have made immense contributions to our society and economy.”

This tweet will now come back to haunt her as Americans will ask her to back up her words and many Americans will come to view her as a total hypocrite.

She is not expected to make a statement on the latest development as this will contradict her father.
