Never before in the history of the United States has a sitting President so viciously, consistently and publicly attacked a former President in a matter that is still under investigation and seemingly implicating his own Presidential campaign that brought him into power.
After much denial that his own campaign colluded with Russia, Trump took to Twitter to admit there was Russian collusion and interference in the 2016 elections that brought him into power. But he made this admission in typical Trump style- shifting the blame on to his predecessor Barack Obama. Trump blames Obama of collusion and says he wants an apology.
Trump’s allegations are currently baseless but there is evidence of him in the 2016 Presidential elections encouraging hackers to go on and hack and release information to the public. His speeches after the DNC hacking saga are available in the public domain.
His famous quip after Wikileaks hacked and leaked sensitive Government and Private data to damage Hillary Clinton is memorable. He told a crowd of his supporters that, “I love wikileaks!”
Wikileaks was directly working for the Russians in a very cordinated effort to influence the U.S Presidential elections. Russian hackers worked day and night to hack computer systems and Private servers, then they would forward all the stolen data, emails, information to Wikileaks. Wikileaks would then leak this stolen information on the internet.
In fact, Julian Assange, an “activist” and the founder of Wikileaks is currently in hiding in the Equadorian Embassy in London where he has been holded up for over 5 years. He thinks the moment he leaves the Equadorian Embassy grounds, the British Government will hand him over to the U.S Government.
Trump’s tweets today were as follows:
“The reason that President Obama did NOTHING about Russia after being notified by the CIA of meddling is that he expected Clinton would win..”
