Theresa May Will Not Criticise Trump On Climate Change Deal To Preserve “Special Relationship”

U.K Prime Minister Theresa May says Trump is free to pull out the Paris Climate Change Agreement if he wishes, The Independent reported.

Calls by Greenpeace and Environmental activists in the U.K to have Theresa May join other European leaders who have criticised Trump for his disregard for the environment and for pulling out the Paris Climate Change Agreement fell on deaf ears as Theresa May insists that “Trump is free to pull out of the agreement.”

Jeremy Corbyn and other U.K high profile figures have called upon Theresa May to make a public statement on Trump’s withdrawal from the Climate Change Deal but Theresa May refuses and says she is busy campaigning.

Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Macron and all other European leaders have all made a public statement on the issue and disapproved America’s withdrawal from the Climate Change deal.

Canada, Japan and even China have criticised Trump’s withdrawal from the Climate Change Agreement.

U.S President Donald Trump believes that Climate Change is a hoax and once claimed that “Climate Change was invented by the Chinese to restrict America’s fuel consumption and industrial growth.”
